Numerous factors are considered when giving log shell estimates such as species of wood, log diameters, square footage, number of corners, roof systems, stair cases, lofts and etc.  To keep it simple, the following is a ROUGH guide on pricing for log home shells.  These prices do not factor shipping and assembly.  To get the best estimate, I recommend calling and discussing the options available.  Estimates are completely FREE with a scheduled visit to the building yard. Estimates are $1,000 with no visit. 

-Single floor with 1/2 loft

$105-$110 per square foot

-Full log gable style trusses

-Log Staircase

$3,000- $5,000

-Adding a basement to increase living space will not change the price of the log shell.  The square foot pricing only reflects log wall living space 

-Assembly pricing can vary significantly depending on building site and location.  Full log assembly ranges from $20,000 to $30,000 on average.  This includes shipping, labor, crane services, window/door cutouts and etc.
